In the late 1800s, people in many parts of the world decided to leave their homes and immigrate to the United States. Fleeing crop failure, land and job shortages, rising taxes, and famine, many came to the U. S. because it was perceived as the land of economic opportunity.

What caused industrialization in the United States? Explain.
laiz [17]

There were numerous reasons for the boom of industrialization in the United States. There were many natural resources and America was growing as a whole, which caused more demand for jobs and items.

While the population grew in the United States, there was more demand for jobs, and more items needed to be made and produced. There were now railroads and transportation systems, which made it easier to transport people and items across large distances. This made it even easier for transportation to flourish, as people, resources, and the items being produced could now be sent around, traded, and sold with other people and states.

Being a factory worker in the North was very common, as the South still focused on agriculture, it was mostly the North that had the industries and factories which harbored jobs.

How did mussolini use the fear of communism to rise in power
omeli [17]

In 1922 October, there were extensive  riots in the rural countryside of Northern Italy and there was widespread fear of a communism takeover during these riots, which  King Victor Emmanuel III of Italy was not happy about.

Mussolini gathered his Fascist followers and foot soldiers known as the "Black shirts" and staged a march on Rome. Once there, King Victor asked him to form a government and restore order in the countryside. Over the next three years, Mussolini dismantled the democracy that prevailed at the time and in 1925 declared himself a dictator of Italy giving himself the title " Duce" which means "The Leader."

In 1804, enslaved Africans and other laborers on Saint Domingue won independence from France. How do you think Jefferson felt ab
jasenka [17]

I would say that President Thomas Jefferson would have desired the revolution to fail. On the one had, Saint Domingue independence from France was good news, for it debilitated the French. But on the other hand, the triumph of a slave revolution in the West Indies would set a dangerous precedent and could influence further slave revolts in the USA.

Jefferson - who was a slave owner himself - refused to recognize the negro government, rejecting diplomatic relations and even imposed an economic embargo on Saint Domingue in order to make the negro nation fail. Also, he had to face southern slave-holders reaction against the Saint Domingue in fear of similar outbreaks. Previous incidents like the Gabriel slave conspiracy in 1802 fueled this fear.

How has oil affected the economic differences between classes in the Middle East? Oil has had very little effect on the gap betw
sashaice [31]

Answer:

Oil has increased the gap between the poor and the wealthy.

Explanation:

  • As of now, oil is one of the main sources of energy and the middle east has more than half of the world's total oil reserves and it represents about 65% of the total world oil reserves. Saudi Arabia being the far largest producer i.e 42% of the middle east.
  • U]Iran has 19% of the production, UAE has 11%, Iraq has 6% and Kuwait has 11% and Qatar 4% and Oman 5% of reserves. Thus oil nature of occurrence and nature if demand has led to the gap between the rich and the poor nations.
