What is 2x+3+8x=3x+9x+7
Reika [66]

Answer:

x=-2

Step-by-step explanation:

Hey there!

In order to solve this equation, you need to combine like terms

The equation after combining the x terms and the contants will look like this

10x+3=12x+7

Now you have to take 10x away from both sides

3=2x+7

Now bring all the constants to the left side

3-7=2x

Simplify

-4=2x

divide 2 on both sides to get x by itself

x=-2

So, the answer is x=-2

Factor this equation<br> 4x^2+12x-7
Levart [38]
4x^2+12x-7=0\\\\a=4;\ b=12;\ c=-7\\\Delta=b^2-4ac\\\\\Delta=12^2-4\cdot4\cdot(-7)=144+112=256 \ \textgreater \  0\\\\therefore\\x_1=\dfrac{-b-\sqrt\Delta}{2a}\ and\ x_2=\dfrac{-b+\sqrt\Delta}{2a}\\\\\sqrt\Delta=\sqrt{256}=16\\\\x_1=\dfrac{-12-16}{2\cdot4}=\dfrac{-28}{8}=\boxed{-\dfrac{7}{2}}\\\\x_2=\dfrac{-12+16}{2\cdot4}=\dfrac{4}{8}=\boxed{\dfrac{1}{2}}

Soloha48 [4]

Given:

1.  -3 x^{2}\left(4 x^{3}-7\right)\\$2. $(6 x-5)(2 x+3)$\\3. $(3 x-1)\left(x^{2}+5 x-2\right)$

To find:

The product of the polynomials.

Solution:

1. -3 x^{2}\left(4 x^{3}-7\right) =-3 x^{2}(4 x^{3}) -3 x^{2}(-7)

Multiply the numerical coefficient and add the powers of x.

                          =-12 x^{5}+21 x^{2}

2. (6 x-5)(2 x+3)=6 x(2 x+3)-5(2x+3)

Multiply each term of first polynomial with each term of 2nd polynomial.

Multiply the numerical coefficient and add the powers of x.

                              =12 x^2+18x-10 x-15

                              =12 x^2+8x-15

3. (3 x-1)\left(x^{2}+5 x-2\right)=3 x(x^{2}+5 x-2)-1(x^{2}+5 x-2)

Multiply each term of first polynomial with each term of 2nd polynomial.

Multiply the numerical coefficient and add the powers of x.

                                      =3x^{3}+15 x^2-6x-x^{2}-5 x+2

Add or subtract like terms together.

                                      =3x^{3}+14 x^2-11x+2

The answer for multiplying polynomials:

1. -12 x^{5}+21 x^{2}

2. \  12 x^2+8x-15

3. \ 3x^{3}+14 x^2-11x+2
