After Gregor's transformation, the family begins to save money and create opportunities for themselves. Everybody gets a job that will likely lead to better opportunities in the future, they move in a smaller apartment, which will save more money, and become a truly happy family, without Gregor.
The rainbow at the end of "The Fish" is the most likely a symbol of A RAINBOW TROUT.

He left Germany when Hitler became Dictator 1933. HE is the reason for the Manhatten project, he wanted to use nuclear fission as a weapon which highlighted the danger of nuclear weapons he became and American citizen in 1940. He had written more than 300 research papers along with 150 non-scientific works.
