Which of the following words and phrases from the poem does NOT contribute to our understanding of the speaker's cultural backgr
ExtremeBDS [4]
Answer A. Being from or in a hotel could be anywhere in the world, really. "Turista" is a word in spanish meaning tourist that helps us understand the location (some spanish-speaking country). "Cactus fence" tells us it's in a dryer climate of the Spanish-speaking country, and "Mango yellow" indicates that it is somewhere mangos are naturally found.

Since hotels could be found anywhere and are not specific to one cultural background, Answer A is the only word that doesn't contribute to understanding where the speaker is from. Hope this helps! :)
