Answer:

$1,068,000

Explanation:

The computation of the total manufacturing overhead cost should be

Total variable manufacturing overhead for 50,000 machine hours is

= Indirect labor + Machine supplies +Indirect materials

= 630,000+90,000+120,000

= $840,000

Now

Variable manufacturing overhead per machine hour is

= Total variable manufacturing overhead cost ÷ Number of machine hours

= $840,000 ÷ 50,000

= $16.80

And,

Total variable manufacturing overhead for 60,000 machine hours

= Variable manufacturing overhead per machine hour × 60,000

= $16.80 × 60,000

= $1,008,000

Now the total manufacturing overhead cost should be

= 1,008,000  + 60,000

= $1,068,000

John and Karl can live together in a two-bedroom apartment for $500 per month, or each can rent a single-bedroom apartment for $
tester [92]

Explanation:

A: Together their flat is $500, however if they were to live separately it'd be $350 per month. 350x2= 700. They save $200 by sharing a flat. However, if Karl plays John $175 a month to keep the dirty dishes away, then 200>175. Therefore, they should live together.

Karl could just live alone and pay the $350 to live alone with no dish problem.  Since Karl will play $175 to rid the dish problem the highest rent he'll pay is 350-175=175. John would pay 500-175=325<350 this shows it better for John to live with Karl.

B: If living alone, John would pay £ 350. The highest monthly rent he would be willing to pay for the shared apartment is: £ 350- £ 30 = £ 320. This means that Karl would need to pay at least: £ 500- £ 320 = £ 180. But the highest monthly rent Karl would be willing to pay is : £ 175. They should live separately.

hope this helps you out a bit, I know its a lot. But its math, what do we expect. lol

Vsevolod [243]

Answer:

While in the restroom, you overhear your boss telling a colleague that Bob is going to be laid off at the end of the quarter in about two weeks’ time. Bob is a good friend of yours.Do you tell him? Why or why not?a.Response/Approach: UTILITARIANISMi.As a good friend you are, you could HIGHLY encourage Bob look for a newjob and infer that you heard that there are budget cuts going to be happening and “anyone” could be “laid off.”7.One of the newest salespeople in your division is a real goof-off, never showing up for work on time, distracting other people with his antics and so on. You complain about him to your boss, who tells you the kid is the son of the company president. Your boss instructs you not only to leave the new guy alone but also to make his sales numbers look good by throwing him some no-brainer accounts. What do you do?a.Response/Approach: INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITESi. As an employee of this company, you have the responsibility to report thisto a someone of higher status than just your boss. If your boss isn’t takingthe situation seriously, you need to stand up and tell higher authorities.ii.There is surely more people that are aware of this and if everyone aware backs you up, you can’t be fired or punished because then things would “become personal” and that can become a bigger issue that the presidentof the company is probably willing to deal with.

svet-max [94.6K]

Answer:

A. $9.00

B. $3.00

C. Decrease

Explanation:

a. Calculation to determine the intrinsic (minimum) value of this warrant

Using this formula

I = (M – E) × N

Where,

I represent Intrinsic value of a warrant

M represent Market value of common stock

E represent Exercise price of a warrant

N represent Number of shares each warrant entitles theholder to purchase

Let plug in the formula

I=($36 – $30) *1.5

I=$6*1.5

I = $9.00

Therefore the intrinsic (minimum) value of this warrant is $9.00

b. Calculation to determine the speculative premium on this warrant

Using this formula

S = W – I

Where,

S representSpeculative premium

W represent Warrant price

I represent Intrinsic value.

Let plug in the formula

S=$12-[($36 – $30) *1.5]

S=$12 – $9

S = $3.00

Therefore the speculative premium on this warrant is $3.00

c.What should happen to the SPECULATIVE PREMIUM as the expiration date approaches is for it to DECREASE and thereby approach $0.

Minimum required income = Total assets × Target rate of return   ................1

Minimum required income = $ 3,900,000 × 13%

Minimum required income = $ 507,000
