I’m pretty sure you cut out an answer choice because none of those listed are correct so It should be D if D is “y=4/5x-2”. It’s NOT B because the line on the graph is positive and not negative.

Answer:

It is y = -4/5x - 2 because you go left 4 and down 5 which makes both negative. And of course it is minus two.

A class of 24 students is planning a field trip to a science museum. A nonrefundable deposit of $50 is required for the day-long
erica [24]

Answer:

Option A , C ,D

Step-by-step explanation:

A nonrefundable deposit required for the day-long program = $50

Charge per person = $4.50

Let us suppose the number of students is s

So, Charge for s students = $4.50s

Let c denotes the total cost

So, total cost : c=50+4.50s

So, Option A is correct : The linear model is f(s) = 4.5s + 50.

Total cost : c=50+4.50s

We are given that total students are 24

Substitute s = 0

So, c=50

Substitute s = 24

c=50+4.50(24)

c=158

So, Option C and D is also correct.

C. The domain is {x| 0 ≤ x ≤ 24}

D .The range is {y| 50 ≤ y ≤ 158}

Refer the attached figure

The graph is discrete .

So, Option E is incorrect.
