Nonamiya [84]

The term racial unconscious means that each species and culture shares ancient memories, stored in the unconscious part of the mind. According to Jung, the unconscious fragment of the mind attempts to communicate these memories of racism through dream images, while the cognizant one is at rest.

Explanation:

There are many kinds of biased systems and behaviors of racism. You can see the types of racism below:

·     Individual Racism

Individual racism is also called personal racism. Individual racism happens when a person's attitudes, beliefs, and actions are based on biases, stereotypes, or even prejudices against other races. Although avoiding racist thinking is a good start, this approach believes that racism only undergoes in the conscious mind. In fact, racism can be either conscious or unconscious.

·     Interpersonal Racism

Interpersonal racism is racism that happens between people. Simply, it is when white people actively or passively use their personal racism against people of color.

·     Institutional Racism

When racism happens in organizations, it can be more difficult to fight. Institutions usually have more money, history, prestige, and power than individuals. So, when we certainly want individuals to set free from bias, if the institution is biased, some unbiased individuals will not be enough to tackle the bias.

·     Cultural Racism

Cultural racism has numerous meanings. In a greater sense, it is the authority to generate and describe the culture in society. In America, the standards of beauty, art, and other cultural forms have historically been determined by straight and white Christian men. As a result, many American cultures often manifests the group's needs while excluding or lowering the contribution of people of color.

·     Structural Racism

Structural racism is also known as systemic racism. Structural racism arrays individual, cultural, and other types of racism in an eternal system. Like institutional racism, structural racism concerns organizations rather than individuals. However, while institutional racism may deliberately try to select certain groups, structural racism is neutral in its surface. This neutrality causes structural racism hard to measure and even harder to end.

A friend in need is a friend indeed.
Zolol [24]

C.  a proverb

A proverb is a short staying that tells a universal truth or advice. This proverb is saying that a true friend is one that it there for you in times of need, not just in good times.

An adage is very similar to a proverb. In fact, they can be used interchangeably. Generally an adage is something that is a saying that is very old. Often proverbs are seen as words of advice and an adage as a statement of truth.

A simile is a comparison between two things using like or as.

An idiom is a phrase that does not mean what it says. For example, "raining cats and dogs" is an idiom. This does not mean that cats and dogs are raining down on the earth. It means that the rain is very heavy.
