This was an event in Vonnegut's own life, and the novel is
considered semi-autobiographical. from his time as an American soldier and
chaplain's assistant, to post war and early years. It is generally recognized
as Vonnegut's most influential and popular work.
I think its C because the cause is your interest need and desires and you effect is thinking
It's important because to feel like the reason you died wasn't for no reason. So if you feel like you had good death it feels like you served your life's purpose as appose to having a bad death and dying without cause.
