Answer:

B. (132,220)

Step-by-step explanation:

The equilibrium point is the point where the quantity demanded is equal to the quantity supplied.

The equilibrium point (equilibrium price and equilibrium quantity) occur at the point where the supply and demand curves cross each other.

From the graph, we can see that the supply and demand curve cross each other at point. The equilibrium point is this point and it is gotten by tracing to the vertical and horizontal axis.

The equilibrium point is at (132, 220).

Hence the equilibrium price = $132 and equilibrium quantity = 220

-7x - 2y = 19
4x + y = -12
Solve the system
nalin [4]

-7x - 2y = 19

4x + y = -12

Set y equal to each other (opposite signs are fine and you could also set x equal instead of y)

-7x - 2y = 19

8x + 2y = -76

Add equations together

x = -52

Plug x value into an equation

4(-52) + y = -12

Solve for y

-208 + y = -12

y = 196

Hope this helps! ;)

Find the distance between the points ( - 9, - 12) and (18, - 12)
ANTONII [103]

Hello from MrBillDoesMath!

Answer:

27

Discussion:

By the distance formula (or Pythagorean theorem)

distance =   sqrt ( (change in x)^2 + (change in y)^2)

In our case this becomes

distance =   sqrt (   (18 - (-9) )^2 + (-12 - ( -12))^2)

               =  sqrt (    ( 18 + 9) ^2   + ( -12 + 12) ^ 2)

               =  sqrt (  ( 18 + 9) ^2 + 0^2 )

               = sqrt ( 27^2)

               = 27

Geometrically, as both y coordinates = -12, the points define a horizontal line segment. The length is then simply the difference of the x coordinates, 18 - (-9) = 18 +9 = 27. Same answer as before

Thank you,

MrB

For the rectangle: l x w = Area
l = 18
w = 18

18 x 18 = 324

If 16m is for dash line

1/2bh
1/2(16)(16)
4(16) = 64

1/2bh
1/2(8)16
8(8) = 64

324 + 64 + 64 = 452

Your area should be 452m²

hope this helps
