Federalism is one of the central principles of American Constitutionalism because helps in the dividing and sharing of power between state and national governments, thus, making organization of the government manageable and standardized.
The other major principles of American Constitutionalism are:
Popular Sovereignty; Checks and Balances; Limited Power of the Government; Separation of Branches.
The church played a very important role because it was "all around" in medieval times. On the level of almost every village there was a church and a priest which helped spread the word of the christian god. Through this, almost every person down to a villager somewhere in a village in Europe was able to come to church where people gathered on Sundays and hear new information and educate himself on various things related to faith and religion.
On 27 January 1945, Auschwitz concentration camp—a Nazi concentration camp where more than a million people were murdered—was liberated by the Red Army during the Vistula–Oder Offensive. Although most of the prisoners had been forced onto a death march, about 7,000 had been left behind.
