Answer:

No

Explanation:

Technically, this is inaccurate. To say that glycolysis produces two ATP molecules strays from the input of ATP needed. Overall, 4 ATP molecules are produced during glycolysis. However, there is an input of 2 ATP molecules at the beginning. Therefore, the correct statement would be that glycolysis produces 2 net ATP molecules, not that glycolysis produces 2 ATP molecules. (The word net makes a big difference!!).

In the lac operon, the repressor:a. binds to allolactose and becomes active, blocking lac gene expression.b. binds allolactose a
Vladimir79 [104]

Answer:

c. binds to allolactose and becomes inactive, allowing lac gene expression to occur.

Explanation:

Interaction between allolactose and repressor leads to allosteric repulsion which makes repressor inactive leading to the lac gene expression. This is the reason why allolactose is known as the inducer of lac operon becasue it causes gene expression in lac operon.

In the absence of allolactose, the repressor binds the operator and does not allow RNA polymerase to do transcription.

I believe one needs information about the individual's Age, Weight, Height, and Gender.
The Dietary reference intakes define the daily requirement for energy as Estimated Energy requirement. The EER is based on calculations that account for an individual's energy intake, energy expenditure, age, sex, weight, height, and physical activity level.
