How much money does Mr.Williams need to budget for the museum tickets and parking?
Scrat [10]
I pretty sure the answer is $1086.80
okay so first you have the figure out how many students and teachers they're are gonna be.
so if there's 171 students, and you need 2 adults for every 9 students then you need to divide 171 by 9 because it's 9 to a group so 1721 divided by 9 is 19. now you need to divide that by 2 because theres 19 groups of 9 and you need 2 adults for every 9, so 19 times 2 is 38.
now that you have how many students and teachers are going you need to figure out how much is the total amount of tickets for everyone. if its 4.50 per student and 7.25 per teacher then you need to times $4.50 x 171 students and $7.25 x 38 adults. if you entered it right you should've gotten, $769.50 for the students and $275.50 for adults. add them both up. you should've gotten $1,045.
okay so thats done with now the bus price. so if the bus price is 4% of the total price then you have to times .04 (4% in decimal) times $1045. the answer should be $41.80. so you $41.80 is the bus price now lastly you add that to the mount of the tickets. so last stop. $1045 + $41.80 = 1086.80

So he needs to budget for the amount of $1086.80

George has a triangle-shaped garden in his backyard. He drew a model of this garden on a coordinate grid with vertices A(4, 2),
oksian1 [2.3K]
Given:

Vertices of a triangular garden:

A(4,2)
B(2,4)
C(6,4)
Scale factor = 0.5

Find the distance between points:

d = √(x2-x1)^2 + (y2-y1)^2

dAB = 2√2
dBC = 4
dCA = 2√2

A similarly shaped garden is to be created using the scale factor, 0.5:

A' = 2√2 / 0.5 = 4√2
B' = 4 / 0.5 = 8
C' = 2√2 / 0.5 = 4√2

What is the answer with work please
frozen [14]
For 12, the answer would be Y is greater than or equal to 8. If you subtract 193 from both sides of the inequality, you are left with y and 201-193=8. So the overall inequality would look like y>=8. Therefore, you would shade from 8, and everything greater than 8, with a closed circle.

Maria is using a coordinate plane with the axes labeled only with integers. She says that the point (−0.5, 2) cannot be plotted
vodka [1.7K]

Answer:

Integers ={Positive Natuaral Number +Natural numbers having negative sign behind it+Zero}

      ={------,-3,-2,-1,0,1,2,3,..........}

→Points marked on the X and Y axis on the Coordinate Plane=Integers only

→Point to be marked on the coordinate plane =(-0.5,2)

→As, points on both X and Y axis are integers only.To mark, -0.5 , mark a line between , 0 and -1,that will be ,-0.5.

→You can mark , any terminating decimal on the number line, which is marked with integers only.

→Terminating decimals are those decimals having 2^a ,\text{or}5^b, \text{or} 2^a \times 5^b in the denominator of a fraction.

So, to plot any terminating Decimal on the coordinate plane, you have to use property of Rational Numbers ,which is, you can find infinite number of terminating Decimal between two terminating Decimal.

→Mark -0.5 between 0 and -1 on the X axis.Similarly, mark integer 2 on the Y axis.Draw a line parallel to Y axis ,passing from (-0.5,0) and line parallel to X axis passing through (0,2).The intersection of these two lines will be required point (-0.5,2).
