Answer:

A). The words you choose to use should be largely influenced by the advice and counsel of others, such as your instructor, tutors and writing commons staff, and even friends and parents.

Explanation:

As per the question, the approach that is not advised to add authenticity and creativity to your writing would be 'the impact of peers and seniors' advice on the choice of words you will use in your writing' as it will indirectly remove the originality from your content and might fail to create the desired effect on the readers as well.

While writing a specific work, you can employ several approaches to add creativity and authenticity by gaining the perceptions and stand on a specific topic, choosing the reliable support material to substantiate your points, in elaborating the disputable ideas uncommonly.

But the choice of words do not reflect the creativity or authenticity of the work and neither it depends on what your peers advise you but on the purpose you wish to serve, the ideas, images, or vivid descriptions you aim to reflect, the mood and tone that the content requires in order to evoke the intended effect.

Help!! I don’t understand this -
lesantik [10]

Answer:

The act of measuring

The law of stars

Explanation:

A suffix is a morpheme added after the stem of a word to form a derivative, i.e. a new word. Here, you were given two examples of suffixes - <em>-ment </em>and <em>- nomy</em>, and their meanings.

The word <em>measurement </em>is derived from the verb <em>to measure</em> (<em>measure + -ment = measurement</em>). Based on the meaning of the suffix <em>-ment</em>, we can conclude that the meaning of the given word is <em>the act of measuring.</em>

The word <em>astronomy </em>is of Greek origin (<em>astronomos </em>- literally translated as <em>the science that studies the laws of the stars</em>). The root of the word (<em>astro</em>) is derived from the Greek <em>aster</em>, which means<em> a star</em>. Based on this and the meaning of the suffix -<em>nomy</em>, we can conclude that the meaning of the word <em>astronomy </em>is <em>the law of stars. </em>

Why is nick looking at the party "through daisy's eyes," and what conclusions does he come to by doing this
devlian [24]

Answer and Explanation:

Nick and Daisy are characters in F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel "The Great Gatsby". Gatsby, the main character, is in love with Daisy. He left to fight in the war and, in the meantime, Daisy married Tom Buchanan, a millionaire. Gatsby becomes a criminal to earn money quickly, thinking wealth is enough for him to accomplish all his dreams, including getting Daisy back. Nick, the narrator, is Daisy's cousin and Gatsby's neighbor. He is an accomplice and helper of their love affair.

<u>In Chapter 6, Daisy, Tom and Nick attend one of Gatsby's grand parties. This time, unlike the previous times he attended such parties, Nick is looking at things through Daisy's eyes:</u>

<u>"[...] and now I was looking at it again, through Daisy's eyes. It is invariably saddening to look through new eyes at things upon which you have expended your own powers of adjustment."</u>

<u>Daisy is not happy at the party. The only moment of happiness is when she and Gatsby spend half an hour alone. But the party itself, although concocted by Gatsby to impress Daisy, does not work its magic. It's all forceful and fake, filled with celebrities, movie stars and producers. Although Daisy is a vain, shallow girl, this fails to impress her. She is old money, while Gatsby is new money. He is dying to be accepted by her and Tom as one of them. But this is not what either of them want. Tom loathes Gatsby; Daisy loves him, but not his persona. And all this is what Nick notices, seeing the party through Daisy's eyes.</u>
