I would have to say that heav is the syllable that recieves the heaviest accent.
It depends on how they stare. For example, they get excited when they see you, and move their tails, also moving their tails can mean either they are happy or scared
I would write it, "If we were teenagers at the time, these licenses would have signified our passage to adulthood." I hope that helps ^_^
