This is a POV personal question but here are my views.

I think that if you want to own a fire arm you shouldn’t. They cause way more bad than good.

I am pro-guns because I think dangerous shootings can be reduced with more mental health institutions. I believe it is a part of our rights to carry have a gun.

I wouldn't necassarily disagree with gun controls however, as guncontrol would likely be in place to protect the people. (For example:  extensive background check, and keeping regular citizens away from more extreme weapons.

My political compass looks some what like this (though I lean left most times):
