Explanation:

Redlining is the act of denying people various goods or services by government or private institutions, through direct price hikes or selective price hikes.

This act was used to stop minority populations like african americans from getting loans to buy houses in certain american neighborhoods and was used to stop them from getting loans to improve their homes.

Did the United States demonstrate that they were a competitive World Power at the conclusion of
Sphinxa [80]

Answer:

Yes, the United States demonstrated that they were a competitive World Power at the conclusion of World War I.

Explanation:

World War I brought changes not only in the world but in the United States as well. A country not older in politics than other political giants such as Europe, was able to work on global stage like no one imagined.

The United States, under Woodrow's Presidentship played US neutrality until when Germans dashed RMS Lusitania, the British ocena liner, which contained hunderds of Americans on the ship. Germany's repetitive acttions made America to declare war with Germany. This action changed the course of the United States and President Wilson's advocacy for the League of Nations brought recognition to the US as a competitive World Power at the conclusion of WWI.

Define the following
(a) An estuary
(b) A Delta

Masja [62]

Answer:

An estuary is an area where a freshwater river or stream meets the ocean. In estuaries, the salty ocean mixes with a freshwater river, resulting in brackish water. Brackish water is somewhat salty, but not as salty as the ocean. An estuary may also be called a bay, lagoon, sound, or slough.

A river delta is a landform created by deposition of sediment that is carried by a river as the flow leaves its mouth and enters slower-moving or stagnant water. This occurs where a river enters an ocean, sea, estuary, lake, reservoir, or another river that cannot carry away the supplied sediment.
