One of the MAIN causes of why absolutism has become accepted generally was because in the earlier 16th and 17th centuries conflicts arose by the “Protestant reformation” and absolutism was considered to them to be a solution to stop all the disorders in France.
I’d say it’s C:) Since they were perceived as an authoritative figure, people felt as if they HAD to listen to them. His whole experiment was centered around learning people’s obedience to authority. Hope this helped:)
