Answer:

3\frac{1}{5}

Step-by-step explanation:

First you want to find the least common denominator so we can figure out this problem.

We have  3\frac{3}{10} , 6\frac{1}{2} so all we need to do is multiply ONLY the fraction next to the 6 so we can figure out what 1/2 and 3/10 correlates to which you will get

  • By multiplying by 5 you can get the same equation so the common denominator relates to one another.
  • You get 5 by doing 10/2 which is 5.

so your new question is

3\frac{3}{10} , 6\frac{5}{10}

Which is so much easier, all you need to do is subtraction between the two!

5/10-3/10 is 2/10

2/10=1/5

Then we got the whole numbers

6-3=3

so the answer is 3\frac{1}{5}

What are the solutions of x² + 6x - 6 = 10?
Likurg_2 [28]

Answer: x=- 8 or x=2

Step-by-step explanation:

1. To solve this problem you can applly the quadratic formula, which is shown below:

x=\frac{-b+/-\sqrt{b^{2}-4ac}}{2a}

2. The quadratic  equation is:

x^{2}+6x-6-10=0\\x^{2}+6x-16=0

3. Then:

a=1

b=6

c=-16

4. Therefore, when you substitute these values into the quadratic formula, you obtain the following result:

x=\frac{6+/-\sqrt{6^{2}-4(1)(-16)}}{2(1)}

x_1=-8\\x_2=2
