Who is the tallest man in earth?

History
1 answer:
Lunna [17]2 years ago
6 0

Answer:

The twins then named Robert Wadlow as the tallest man "of whom there is irrefutable evidence". When last measured on 27 June 1940, the mild-mannered American stretched a staggering 2.72 m (8 ft 11.1 in) tall. Perhaps surprisingly, Robert entered the world no differently to most babies.

The answer is Santa Anna because, On February 23, a Mexican force comprising somewhere between 1,800 and 6,000 men (according to various estimates) and commanded by General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna began a siege of the fort. The Texans held out for 13 days, but on the morning of March 6 Mexican forces broke through a breach in the outer wall of the courtyard and overpowered them. Santa Anna ordered his men to take no prisoners, and only a small handful of the Texans were spared. One of these was Susannah Dickinson, the wife of Captain Almaron Dickinson (who was killed) and her infant daughter Angelina. Why does Hamilton think judges should be appointed permanently rather than on a periodic basis?
Tomtit [17]

"They will be flexible and inconsistent in doing their job" is the right answer.

According to Hamilton, the judiciary must be autonomous in order to achieve its main goal in a democratic government. It is vitally important in a democracy that individual magistrates and the judiciary as a body are impartial and autonomous of all outside pressures. As a result, the permanent position of the judges would be able to gain the confidence of people and society that their cases will be resolved impartially.

What kind of epidemic struck Europe during World War I?
Dmitry [639]
Correct Answer:
Option A. Influenza

During 1918 - 1919, an influenza epidemic killed about more than 20 million people. This epidemic killed more people than were killed due to the World War 1 and is said to be the most devastating epidemic of the history. Among the US troops which were deployed in Europe, more than half of deaths were a result of influenza rather than the killings done by enemy.
