The answer to your question would be Option 1, or when x < 0. When you create a table with f(x) and g(x), they're only ever equal when x = 0, which is when f(x) and g(x) both equal 1. When the numbers go into negatives for each equation, f(x) becomes exponentially bigger. Making f(x) > g(x) true when x < 0.
