Answer:

African Slaves

Explanation:

At first, the Europeans got the Native Americans to work, but a majority of them died from disease. After this, the Europeans traded American goods with African Chieftains in exchange for their people to be sent to the Colonies as slaves on plantations. This became the Triangular Trade: American goods were sent to England, England sent goods to Africa, and Africa sent slaves to America for labor to make more goods.

Mice21 [21]

Answer: "The condition of the people of America is so different from aught that we in Europe have an opportunity of observing... They are great travellers, and in general better acquainted with the vast expanse of country, spreading over their eighteen states... than the English with their little island. They are also a migrating people, and even when in prosperous circumstances, can contemplate a change of situation, which under our old establishments and fixed habits, none, but the enterprising, would venture upon, when urged by adversity."

soldi70 [24.7K]

The author’s point of view in this excerpt is that it is ironic that tea is the symbol of Britain when tea does not come from Britain at all.

What is the history of tea in England?

Tea was first brought to England by Dutch traders in 1650.

It was not famous in England before. It was served to The Queen of England as a novelty.

Thus, the author’s point of view in this excerpt is that it is ironic that tea is the symbol of Britain when tea does not come from Britain at all.
