Answer and Explanation:

1. The form of poetry chosen by me was a haiku, which is a poetry formed by a single verse of three verses. I chose this type of poetry because I like the ability it has to make an impact in a few words.

2. The theme of my poetry is the human being's ability to feel.

3. The figurative and sensorial language is presented through the personification and the use of adjectives and nouns that describe sensations.

Poetry:

My shiver is shrill and silent.

My footsteps hum and fall silent in the darkness.

My mind wanders out of control and finds its way to the sun.

PLEASE HELP ME WITH JUST ONE QUESTION!!!
liubo4ka [24]

Answer and Explanation:

This question refers to the short story "Harrison Bergeron", by Kurt Vonnegut. Set in the future, the plot revolves around a strange type of equality imposed by the American government. People who are beautiful, talented, or intelligent, for example, are forced to wear handicaps to be ordinary. Harrison is a 14-year-old who wears several handicaps. One day, he escapes prison, rips his handicaps off in live television, and dances with a ballerina. However, they are both shot and killed by the Handicapper General, Diana Moon Glampers.

Imagine that Diana Moon Glampers had missed and that Harrison and the ballerina escaped. How might the story's plot have changed?

If Harrison and the ballerina had escaped, it is possible that the plot would develop toward their being chased down by the government. It is also possible that other people who were forced to wear handicaps might feel inspired by Harrison's action. Perhaps more and more people would begin to tear off their handicaps and join Harrison in his act of defiance.

Tap? Have you ever thought about how dean the water is that comes from the something must be done to make it clean and pure. Here is something you can Since there cannot be pure fresh streams everywhere to supply clean water learn about cleaning dirty water. First, you get a funnel that you used before and slowly into the funnel. Then collect the water as it drips through into another jar and line it with clean white blotting paper. Next, get some muddy water and pout it continue doing this until you have about half the muddy water. After this, observe the blotting-paper lining the funnel and you will see how it has held back some of the dirt from the muddy water. Finally, you will see how much cleaner the water is. You have made a filter to separate the dirt from the water and left the water cleaner

In paragraph four how does author demonstrate Marcus feelings about what he has done ?
charle [14.2K]

Answer:

Read the excerpt from a news report.

A local youth group, collaborating with Splash and Dash Car Wash, raised more than $450 for their annual trip to Washington, DC. These boys and girls, who work as mentors for younger children in our community, set a goal, organized the plan for a car wash, and worked with local businesses to find the perfect partner for their project. Working side by side with Splash and Dash Car Wash employees, the group washed nearly one hundred cars. As a result, they surpassed their fundraising goals and are able to focus on planning their trip. One student said, "This car wash was successful beyond our wildest dreams."

The trip to Washington, DC, is scheduled for May 19. While they visit the nation's capital, students will tour the monuments, explore the Smithsonian museums, and meet with other youth groups from around the country. They are scheduled to leave early in the morning on May 19. The manager of Splash and Dash said that he and his staff will be there to see the students off on their trip. "These kids are our future leaders. It is wonderful to see their hard work rewarded," he said.
