A Guide to Packing Tape
Packing Tape/Packaging Tape- Considered a pressure sensitive tape used in a wide variety of applications, commonly used for sealing boxes and packages for shipments. The most common widths are two to three inches wide and made from a polypropylene or polyester backing. Other pressure sensitive tapes include:

Transparent Office Tape- Commonly referred to as "Scotch tape" is one of the most commonly used tapes in the world. Used for a variety of applications including sealing envelopes, repairing torn paper products, holding light objects together, etc.

Gaffers Tape- A heavy fabric or plastic tape. Commonly used in the entertainment industry to hold down cables and chords. The adhesive leaves little residue and removes cleanly from objects.

Duct Tape- Has a plastic coated fabric backing and a strong adhesive. Often used by people who need a strong and versatile tape that can be easily torn by hand.

Masking Tape- Used for painting and protecting surfaces that should not be painted. Usually consists of a paper backing and an easy to remove adhesive.

Electrical Tape- Commonly made of vinyl it is designed to stretch and conform to irregularly shaped surfaces. Used to help wrap electrical wires to protect them from the elements.

find the equation of the perpendicular bisector of segment ab with endpoints a=2,2 and b=-4,6 if the perpendicular bisector inte
aleksklad [387]

Equation of perpendicular bisector is ,  y=\frac{3}{2} x+\frac{11}{2}

Length of both pa and pb are  \sqrt{\frac{65}{4} }  unit.

Slope of segment ab is,   \frac{6-2}{-4-2} =-\frac{2}{3}

So, slope of perpendicular bisector will be, negative of reciprocal of slope of segment ab.

Therefore, slope of perpendicular bisector is,  \frac{3}{2}

Since, perpendicular bisector passes through the mid point of segment ab.

So, coordinate of mid point of segment ab is,

                                             (\frac{2-4}{2},\frac{2+6}{2}  )=(-1,4)

Thus, perpendicular bisector of ab passing through (- 1, 4) and have slope  3/2.

So, equation of angle bisector is,

                                     y=\frac{3}{2} x+\frac{11}{2}

Since, the perpendicular bisector intersects the y-axis at point p

So, coordinate of point p is (0, 11/2)

By applying distance formula,

pa=\sqrt{(2-0)^{2}+(2-11/2)^{2}  }\\\\ =\sqrt{4+\frac{49}{4} }\\\\ =\sqrt{\frac{65}{4} }

pb=\sqrt{(-4-0)^{2}+(6-11/2)^{2}  }\\\\ =\sqrt{16+\frac{1}{4} }\\\\ =\sqrt{\frac{65}{4} }

Which sets of three lengths can be used to form a triangle?
dezoksy [38]
B, F, and the third one I don’t know (I think it’s C)

For C you only listed two lengths. For D and E there is one length that is longer than the other two lengths combined, so it can’t make a triangle. Same thing for A except for A one length is the same as the other two lengths combined.
