So just for sake, we'll convert the fraction with decimals to a one with whole numbers so it would be \frac{950}{325} when converted.

Next we bring x to the other side and we get 52 = \frac{950}{325} * x

Next bring the fraction to the other side and we get \frac{325}{950} * 52 = x

When we evaluate the left hand side, we get 17.789 which when we round to the nearest tenth becomes 17.8

What is the difference in meaning between a crash and a collision?
jarptica [38.1K]
I believe that a crash and collision are different in the fact that a crash usually involved hitting something that either was not moving or that was an inanimate object. A collision is where you hit another thing that is also moving. I might be wrong but I am fairly sure that my answer is right.

If you go for weeks without eating the proper amount of calories, your body may experience a drop in its resting rate of energy
Gemiola [76]

Answer:

Basal metabolic rate.

Explanation:

If you go for weeks without eating the proper amount of calories, your body may experience a drop in its resting rate of energy expenditure or basal metabolic rate.

Basal metabolic rate (RMR) also known as resting metabolic rate (BMR) can be defined as the amount of calories that is required to keep the human body to function properly and perfectly at rest.

This ultimately implies that, basal metabolism is the minimal amount of calories or energy that is required by an individual for maintaining vital functions such as blood circulation, keeping the body warm and respiration while fasting or in a complete mental and physical rest.

Some of the factors that affects the basal metabolism rate (BMR) in humans are height, weight, age, starvation or fasting, thyroxine, fever, stress, malnutrition and growth.

Additionally, calorie can be defined as a standard unit used for the measurement of the amount of energy present in a living organism.
