Answer:

D.

Explanation:

'Ten Days In A Madhouse' is a book written by Nellie Bly about her experience in madhouse while she was there on an undercover assignment. Nellie Bly spent ten days in Women's Lunatic Asylum on Blackwell's Island and writes about brutuality and cruelity in the asylum.

In Chapter 4, when Nellie was presented in the court before judge, she feared the reporters because she herself was one of them. She feared because these reporters coulde reveal her true identity before everyone.

<em>'I got very much frightened at this, for if there is any one who can ferret out a mystery it is a reporter. I felt that I would rather face a mass of expert doctors, policemen, and detectives </em><u><em>than two bright specimens of my craft</em></u><em>,...'</em>

Therefore, option D is correct.

At the end of the scene, both Friar Lawrence and the Nurse tell Romeo he is acting like a woman for being so sad and emotional.
Viefleur [7K]

Answer:

I personally do not think that it was fair for them to say this, either to Romeo or to women. Gender stereotypes were a lot more prevalent in the 13- and 1400s than they are now. People expected more of men than they did of women — they were not supposed to show weakness or sorrow.
