Explanation:
1) Social behavior/laws/administration:
- Minoans: They were a very well organized society and there was largely equality between the men and the women.
The majority of the people were farmers but however there was a quite an impressive middle class which included craftsmen and merchants. Also, they operated an extremely active and effective navy used for commercial activities and also for clashes with the pirates.
In administration, they operated a system that had complicated and effective bureaucracy which was responsible for a lot of their administration issues. The two writing systems in use were Linear A and hieroglyphics systems.
-Mycenaeans: The were also well organized like the minoans in terms of administration elements such as lists of merchandise, ID seals and commercial stations abroad. However, they were a more war oriented society and as such their cities were well protected.
They possessed distinct economic classes such as: the noble class, middle class, farmers and slaves.
Their writing system was Linear B.
2) Religion:
-Minoans: They had female deities they worshiped such as the mother goddess of fertility, the goddess of animals, the goddess that protects of homes & family life e.t.c. Later on, a male god named Zeus was included.
- Mycenaeans: Their religious rituals took place in a public mansion known as Megaron where they all worshipped the Olympian gods.
3) Burials:
-Minoans: Their burials were mainly like communal feasts whereby the deceased were offered gifts by people at an elaborate meal inside or around the tomb. In summary, their burials were usually in communal, family-based chambers.
-Mycenaeans: Initially they were using cist graves but they changed to 3 different types namely: the shaft graves, the tholos tombs, & the chamber tombs. Thus it's clear that they didn’t believe in the afterlife like as the Minoans did in their burial ceremonies.
