as u may know, it is dangerous to smoke. (i think it should be outlawed.) to enhale that smoke means that u can get lung cancer, get sick etc. also, a lit cigar could cause a fire. so, places have separate places so no non-smokers get sick, or cause a fire. hope i helped

There are a bunch of reasons why this happens. It is because some of their customers have health issues and they shouldn't be breathing in smoke fumes. Also because while eating they don't want to smell cigarettes. Also they will loose customers if people smoke in front of other people. Since there are no options can't confirm the correct answer. My opinion it would be "to limit nonsmokers exposure to second-hand smoke."
