Hunger signifies the need for food that is based on body’s need for nutrients.

Further Explanation:

Basal metabolic rate (BMR) - This signifies the rate of use of energy when a person’s body is at rest.

Appetite- This can be defined as desire to eat. This condition can be triggered by factors such as hunger, cravings, habits and other social and emotional factors. Even a slight sense of presence of food such as seeing or smell can trigger this response. Appetite is needed to be kept in check to avoid the diseases such as obesity and diabetes.

Hunger- This can be called as the physiological demand of the food pertaining to the low sugar level or different bodily nutrient demands. Therefore this can be termed as the process of refueling the body with required nutrients.

Nutrition- This is the science which studies the requirement of the nutrients for proper grown and development of the body. This is a basic requirement of the body as it is necessary to repair all the wear and tear of the body.

The need for food based on the body's need for nutrients, which is simply psychological desire to eat is called appetite. During this period the body will develop desire or liking for something, to some they'll feel hungry though they aren't necessarily starving but just the normal body adjustments. This effect may also trigger rumbling of the stomach. In other cases the saliva glands are triggered to produce to much saliva in the mouth, which leads to salivation.

Give some example of how the senses can help gather information about a patient’s condition.
Svet_ta [14]
Well your basic senses are going to be, taste, touch, olfaction (smell), visual perception (seeing), hearing...

Obviously your not going to taste a patients conditions. So moving on to touch. You can feel a bruise or a spot where they indicate pain to tell if their hurt or not. Now unless they aren’t very hygienic then you can’t really “smell” a persons condition. Visual perception you can see if they are in pain or bleeding or even dying by looking at the patient. Now for hearing you can listen to what their telling you. If their hurt their going to tell you exactly what’s wrong bc they obviously want help!

Good luck!! Hope this helped!
