Answer:

Since Lane had always been intrigued by killers she had started to dig into a popular case that has been making the new for a couple years now. Every year on the same month the "Decapitator" had taken blonde preschool teachers and and left there body parts in random places. Out of the blue she gets a random letter with no return address. She opens the card to see a picture of a decapitated head. the Author of the letter goes on to claim that he knows everything about Lane. He also makes sure to let her know that if she tells anyone about the letter he will hurt her. Does he know her? Is this a joke? How does he know were she lives?
