Which sentence from “The Treasure of Lemon Brown” best shows that Greg is a dynamic character? Greg sat in the small, pale green

kitchen listening, knowing the lecture would end with his father saying he couldn’t play ball with the Scorpions. Greg looked at the old man, saw the distant look in his eye, then turned to the clippings. Greg opened his mouth to quiet the sound of his breath as he sucked it in uneasily. Greg pushed the button over the bell marked Ridley, thought of the lecture he knew his father would give him, and smiled.

egoroff_w [7]

Answer:

Learning is discovering new things or ideas and even sharing ones knowledge , Without  learning the world would be freeze. Not able to stop global warming because you don't know how it affects the earth etc. We would still be living like stone age persons. Secondly, Without learning we would make the same mistakes over and over again until we die because we wouldn't learn from it.

What is the point of the chourus giving us a summary of the play before it has started
brilliants [131]

Answer:

By having the Chorus spoil the end of the play before it even starts—Romeo and Juliet die, and only then do their families end the feud Shakespeare sets up similar possibilities for the development of irony, tension, and catharsis here.

In the movie of the Crucible ,why are the Putnams shown in their buggy? What is their attitude toward the less fortunate?
Tasya [4]

Hi there!

<em>In the movie The Crucible, the Putnam’s were shown in their buggy because it showed the status and how they lived. </em>

<em>Their attitude toward the less fortunate is like a why-are-you-here type.</em>

In The Crucible, the members of the Putnam's family were important and wealthy members of Salem’s community. They helped spread the witchcraft hysteria by encouraging their daughter to accuse innocent citizens of colluding with the devil.

Hope this helps!

What does this interaction reveal about Antony’s agenda? He intends to make Lepidus one of the leaders of the divided empire. He
Alexus [3.1K]

Answer:

He plans to remove Lepidus from power once he has served his purpose.

Explanation:

In William Shakespeare's play "The Tragedy of Julius Caesar", the character of Lepidus has just three dialogues in the whole play. He was to be one of the three members of the Second Triumvirate, after the death of Julius Caesar.

Antony plans to use Lepidus as much as he can but he thinks that he is not worthy to be a part of the new Second Triumvirate. In Act Act IV scene i, we see the three members of the Second Triumvirate - Antony, Octavius and Lepidus deciding who should be killed for the murder of Caesar. Lepidus's brother and Antony's nephew must also die for their involvement in the murder. After that was decided,  Antony sent Lepidus to go and get Caesar's will from his house. After he left, Antony remarked to Octavius that Lepidus is just meant to obey orders and not be a leader, not fit for being a part of the Triumvirate. He said that "<em>He must be taught and trained and bid go forth,  A barren-spirited fellow, one that feeds  On objects, arts, and imitations</em>". This shows that he plans to remove Lepidus from power once he has served his purpose.
