James-Lange theory: according to this theory this chemical would intensify the physiological response and that will result in increasing or intensifying the fear and anxiety or other experienced emotions.

Two-factor theory: according to this particular theory of emotion that the chemical will change the cognitive label applied to an individual due to the intense physiological responses that take place by the chemical.

Cannon-Bard's theory would be the theory that would have the most difficulty explaining the increase in fear produced by the chemical. This says even the physiological response changed but emotion would not be affected.
