Can't ask about religion, age, or disability.
Lol exactly I know right!
The antecedent of the pronoun “it” is Chicago (answer A). The reader can easily recognize the antecedent of a pronoun by replacing it in the sentence, and he or she can determine if the meaning of the sentence has sense or not.
Example: The class members chose Chicago to visit because Chicago provides the best opportunity for education and entertainment.
In my opinion I think it's A it could be C but when you see someone around you physically see but you wouldn't call them strangers if you physically resemble and know the person. In answer a it says "emotionally disconnected" which can mean strangers but it can be temporary.
A????................ i think. mainly because if im remembering correctly, the victorian age was when they were expanding and had territories all over the world. so the sun literally never set over their empire.
