When Osiris climbed into the chest he fit perfectly. ... Isis worked hard to find all the pieces and, when she had found them all, she put Osiris' body back together, wrapping it up in fine linen bandages. This made him the first mummy. Describe the Manhattan project ( codename of the operation in the Us to develop a nuclear weapon) and the eventual outcome/decis
kramer
The Manhattan Project was a secret military project created in 1942 to produce the first US nuclear weapon. It was originally a race against the Germans to be the first to make a bomb.
Eventually, though, Japan was not surrendering in WW2. Japan's system of dying for their country being extremely honorable and having to take part in the war or facing serious consequences made it hard for the US to defeat them. Harry S. Truman ordered this bomb to bring the war to a speedy end. The result was the five-ton bomb over the Japenese city of Hiroshima and eventually Nagasaki.
Other solutions would've been to invade, but Truman must've seen it as losing American lives too and that this was the best way to end the war. We also could've waited before dropping the second bomb on Nagasaki because we heard no news from Japan, but that was just in two days. It was very quick to rush for so many lives.

I hoped this helped! This is what I learned from my teachers but here is a link to more solutions regarding the atomic bomb:

What is the topic in the early sumerian writing sample? what does this (the topic) suggest about the function (purpose) of writi
MakcuM [25]

The Sumerians invented the first writing system. People needed a way to keep track of business transactions, ownership rights, and government records as Sumerian towns grew into cities. Around 3300 BC, the Sumerians began to keep records on clay tablets with picture symbols.

Cuneiform writing was used to record a wide range of information, including temple activities, commerce, and trade. Cuneiform was also used to record stories, myths, and personal correspondence.

Cuneiform appears to have been invented by the Sumerians for the mundane purpose of keeping accounts and records of business transactions, but it eventually evolved into a full-fledged writing system used for everything from poetry and history to law codes and literature.

Read the excerpt.
GenaCL600 [577]

Answer:

Fire-eaters.

Explanation:

Fire-eaters are the group of pro-slavery Democratic leaders who supported the secession of their states from the Union. They believe that slavery is a necessity and an important part of their livelihood which renders them an enemy of the Northern states' abolitionist attitude.

In the given excerpt from The Mississippi Ordinance of Secession, the declaration is that the longer they stay in the Union, they will only be subjugated, meaning they will be controlled or put under control.

Thus, this declaration will be most strongly supported by the Fire-eaters.
