It was the ninth inning and Bryant's team was down

Answer:

If your'e asking what happened, and why he felt embarassed, its because he caused his team to lose. He hit the ball to the thirdbaseman, which gave the other oppertunity to end the game, as it was the last inning, and all they needed were 3 outs. And with the triple play, Bryant felt bad, as he was part of the reason of which his team lost. Although even the pitcher said to him "Nice hit, Champ. Way to get a hold of it", he still felt bad, although it was a positive thing that he did, that the other team turned into a negative thing.

I hope this helped, I don't know what the question was, although I love baseball, and am training in a professional youth academy in DR, so I hope this helped clear up any confusion there was in this little paragraph. Have a good night!
