   Describe the patients in the hospital and their views of the war.

   Mention the optimistic speaker who listens attentively to your words.

   Mention the cynical attitude of the major and his lack of faith in machines.

   Use the vocabulary to describe the detached looks on the patients’ faces, the resigned expressions of those who believe there is no cure for their ailments and injuries, and the major’s hopelessness.
