Read the excerpt from "Rhapsody on a Windy Night." Twelve o'clock. Along the reaches of the street Held in a lunar synthesis, Wh

ispering lunar incantations Dissolve the floors of memory And all its clear relations, Its divisions and precisions, Every street-lamp that I pass Beats like a fatalistic drum, And through the spaces of the dark Midnight shakes the memory As a madman shakes a dead geranium. It describes how the narrator views the street he walks in, bathed by the moonlight, and how it somehow makes everything he sees and his memories vague and indistinct. An example of that is how a streetlamp can emit "sound" as well as light. It is also implied that somehow that time of night, being "midnight" has the power to unconsciously "shake" the narrators thoughts and memories without him knowing or being aware of it, like a madman would not be aware that he is shaking a dead flower.

How does the choice of a narrator affect the plot of a narrative?
Artist 52 [7]

The choice of narrator affects the plot of a narrative in the following way:

d) The narrator's point of view affects the amount of information the reader receive.

Whenever the narrator is a character in the story, he may interact with other characters or may witsness certain events. These interactions are received by the reader through the narrator's eyes, so it affects the view of the reader. Moreover, the reader cannot know anything the narrator does not know, because it is his link to the story, and that limits the information the reader may receive.
