What is your opinion about copying a report from the internet?

Copying a report from the internet in many parts of the country is considered plagerism. However, is it really wrong? In my personal opinion it isn‘t wrong to copy a report from the internet as long as you obtain the permission from the person who wrote it. For example: In Brainly you can either ask for help or people can do the work for you. It’s up to you to decide what you want to do. Also, people are sometimes busy and don’t have enough time to write their own essays so having someone else make their essays is less time consuming and efficient. According to Inside Higher ED, it states: “When a person borrows an idea, no harm is done to the party from whom it was taken.” The Harbus states that plagerism is discriminatory stating: “If you believe that plagiarism is “unethical,” you are basically endorsing discrimination against people who lack original ideas. Is that the kind of society we want? Is this the message we want to send?” Also, “Artists, musicians and writers etc have always copied each other.“ as stated by Jim Hamlyn.

Do you think that it's wrong?

No, I personally don’t think it’s wrong because many people don‘t have the time to write an essay or report. Also, as long as the person who you are taking the ideas from are ok with the idea of you taking their work then you have no problem in adding their voice, ideas and opinions into your own work.

Your ASSIGNMENT
Alika [10]

I look around my favorite spot. I'm deep in the woods that are just on the line of my property. I have been coming here since I was young. Recently I have been using it as a therapy for the problems I have been having. School has been crazy, my family is never around, and it feels as if I have no friends.

But this place. Always been by get away. The moss grown on the tall trees that seem to touch the sky, the fallen logs, the green ferns. The rocks, the almost quiet streams that flow through the ground. The moist, dark dirt that leaves a fine smell after it rains. The sun peeked through the tips of the trees and shined into my hazel eyes and lit up my golden brown hair. I took a deep breath and sighed out my emotions into my peaceful spot. I really appreciated this.

(my answer basically shows conflict and it shows details about the character and the appreciation and personality of the character. you can use it)

Jeetesh said the traffic prevented me from moving (change the narration)
Vesna [10]

Answer:

Jeetesh said that the traffic prevented him from moving.

Explanation:

Change in narration is when the direct speech is changed into indirect speech or vice versa. In other words, change in narration means the change in the manner of relaying the same message without using the exact words spoken by the speaker.

The given sentence "Jeetesh said the traffic prevented me from moving" can be changed in the reported speech as-

Jeetesh said that the traffic prevented him from moving.

Here, the "me" in the original sentence refers to Jeetesh, thus, we replace it with the pronoun "him".

Answer:

II. With the smallest of hints, a fragile mind can deceive a person.

IV. A child's amusement can have a negative effect on others.

Explanation:

The story, "The Open Window" tells of Vera the niece of Mrs. Sappleton who was obsessed with lying and found pleasure from doing this. She told a false story of the death of Mr. Sappleton and his three in-laws to Mr. Framton who came visiting and who had a fragile mind because of the nervous disorder he suffered. On seeing the supposedly dead people coming back from the view offered by the open window, he fled from the house.

The story shows that what seems to be fun for children might have bad effects on others seeing that this man was not in a healthy mental state. It also shows that a fragile mind can deceive a person, because Mr. Frampton was easily carried away with Vera's lies because of his nervous breakdown.
