25. A student measures the distance from a bridge

Biology
1 answer:
kkurt [141]3 years ago
6 0

Answer:

(4) As time increased, distance remained

the same

Explanation:

The graph shows that the student measures equal distance everyday from the bridge to the rock for 7 days.

Everyday has an equal distance measured by the student all through the week.

Let's say the point on the vertical axis which represents distance measured is about 1.5 meters. It means that, for day 1, he measures 1.5 meters, day 2, he measured 1.5 meters, by day 3 another 1.5 meters. Same he does for 7 days. For the first 3 days, he would have measured 1.5 m × 3 = 4.5 meters.

This means that, as time (days) increased, distance measured each day remains the same.

in pea plants, yellow seed color is dominated and green seed color is recessive. what will the generations look like ?
Law Incorporation [45]

If yellow seed color is primarily dominant, future generations will likely turn out yellow as well due to the relationship between dominant and recessive genes. Dominant genes and traits are mostly more likely to show in future generations.

1. A rock sample has a mass of 16 grams:
Morgarella [4.7K]

Answer:

(3) 4 cm' and 2.0 g/cm3

Explanation:

Given:

volume= V= 8 cm³

mass= m= 16 g

The density is the mass per volume of a substance, so the density of the rock is:

density= d= 16 g/8 cm³= 2 g/cm³

When we cut the rock in half, we have a half volume and a half mass:

V= 8 cm³/2= 4 cm³

m= 16 g/2= 8 g

But the density is not altered because it is an intrisic property - it does not change with the amount of subtance. Thus, the density of a half rock is:

d = m/V= 8 g/4 cm³= 2 g/cm³
