The War of 1812 changed the course of American history. Because America had managed to fight the world's greatest military power to a virtual standstill, it gained international respect. Furthermore, it instilled a greater sense of nationalism among its citizens.
While the War of 1812 had virtually no impact in England, it did assure the survival of the British colonies in Canada, and ultimately paved the way for the Canadian Confederation - the precursor to the nation of Canada.

Tort Laws - a tort law in Greek meant that someone that has made an illegal change to your house or personal property. Murder is also a tort law and the punishment is very strict.

Public Laws - public laws were given to how public services were provided and how it should be done.
Courts and Judicial System - created the court system to punish offenders of the other laws. However, there were no “judges” or higher ups. Just two people arguing why they should win and the other should be punished.
