Answer:

  (C)  0.27 × 9 = 2.43

Step-by-step explanation:

Each colored section is 27 small squares, so is 27/100 = 0.27 of the whole. There are 9 colored sections, together totalling 2 wholes plus 43 small squares, or 2.43.

The equation this represents could be ...

  0.27 × 9 = 2.43 . . . . . matches choice C

What are the first three terms of a geometric sequence in which as = 25 and the common ratio is 5?
marin [14]

Answer:

The first three terms are: 25, 125 and 625

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

a =25; r = 5

Required

The first three terms

The nth term of a geometry progression is:

T_n =ar^{n-1

So, we have:

First term: n = 1

T_n =ar^{n-1

T_1 =25 * 5^{1-1

T_1 =25 * 5^0

T_1 =25 * 1

T_1 =25

Second term: n = 2

T_n =ar^{n-1

T_2 =25 * 5^{2-1

T_2 =25 * 5^{1

T_2 =25 * 5

T_2 =125

Third term: n = 3

T_n =ar^{n-1

T_3 =25 * 5^{3-1

T_3 =25 * 5^{2

T_3 =25 * 25

T_3 =625

Can you guys help me? Please and thank you! :)

The theoretical probability is what is expected based on using math. Since there is only one card that is number 1, and there are 400 possible outcomes, then the theoretical probability is 1/400 which is 0.25%.
Now find the experimental probability by find the number of times card 1 is picked, and the number of cards in total. 128/400 = 0.32 which is 32 percent.
The experimental probability is higher than the theoretical probability.
Hope this helps

What is the exact value for the expression the square root of 56. − the square root of 14. + the square root of 126.? Simplify i
solong [7]
Factor a square root of 14 out of every expression to get:

\sqrt{14}*(\sqrt{4}-1+\sqrt{9)

\sqrt{14}*(2-1+3)

4*\sqrt{14}

Thus, the expression is equal to four times the square-root of 14.  The second answer is correct.
