Here,

CV = critical value

SE = standard error

The critical value is computed using the confidence level.

And as the critical value if directly proportional to the width of the interval, any change in the critical value has a direct effect on the width, i.e. as the critical value increases the width of the interval increases and vice-versa.

The confidence level 90% is less than the confidence level 92%.

So, the width of the 90% confidence interval will be narrower than the width of the 92% confidence interval.
