Answer: the greenhouse effect

Explanation:

The greenhouse effect can be define as the trapping of the heat energy coming from the sunlight by the gases present in atmosphere. This makes the atmospheric temperature warm and fluctuates the seasonal and climatic cycles. This occurs due to the abundance of greenhouse gases such as water vapor, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide, nitrous oxides and methane. Generally the heat energy from the terrestrial regions get reflected back into the space this maintains the heat balance on earth. But due to the abundance of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere this heat energy does not reflect back to the space. Resulting in greenhouse affect as the heat get trapped in the atmosphere which will affect negatively to the other spheres of the earth.

The closed car is the example of greenhouse effect. This is because of the fact that the closed car window pane will absorb the heat energy incident-ed on it. This will make the internal temperature of the car warm just like the warm temperature caused by the greenhouse effect of earth.

Balanced Chemical Equation: 2H2(g)+O2(g)——> 2H2O(g)
Tcecarenko [31]

You must use 134 g O₂ to produce 118 g H₂O.

\%\text{ yield} = \frac{\text{actual yield}}{\text{theoretical yield}} \times 100 \%

\text{Theoretical yield} = \text{Actual yield}\times \frac{100\%}{\%\text{ yield}} = \text{118 g }\times \frac{100 \%}{78.2 \%} = \text{150.9 g}

M_r:          32.00    18.02

         2H₂ + O₂ ⟶ 2H₂O

Moles of H₂O = 150.9 g H₂O × (1 mol H₂O/18.02 g H₂O) = 8.374 mol H₂O

Moles of O₂ = 8.374 mol H₂O × (1 mol O₂/2 mol H₂O) = 4.187 mol O₂

Mass of O₂ = 4.1877 mol O₂ × (32.00 g O₂/1 mol O₂) = 134 g O₂

In which of the following types of solution is the rate of dissociation equal to the rate of crystallization? Concentrated Super
Butoxors [25]

In a <u>Saturated </u>solution, the rate of dissociation equal to the rate of crystallization

Explanation:

A saturated solution is one than cannot dissolve any more solute because the solutes inter-molecular spaces are filled with the solute molecules at that temperature. When an attempt is made to dissolve more solute into the solution, the rate at which the solute is dissolved into the solution is equal to the rate at which excess solute is precipitated and crystallized.

Determine the pH of a buffer which is a 0.20 M solution of trimethylamine (N(CH3)3) and a 0.40 M solution of trimethylammonium c
uranmaximum [27]

Answer:

pH of the buffer is 10.10

Explanation:

trimethylamine is a weak base that, in presence with its conjugate base, trimethylammonium ion, produce a buffer.

To determine the pH of the buffer we use H-H equation for weak bases:

pOH = pKb + log [Conjugate acid] / [Weak base]

<em>pKb is -log Kb = 4.20</em>

<em />

pOH = 4.20 + log [N(CH₃)₃] / [NH(CH₃)₃]

Replacing the concentrations of the problem:

pOH = 4.20 + log [0.20M] / [0.40M]

pOH = 3.90

As pH = 14 -pOH

<h3>pH of the buffer is 10.10</h3>
