Yes, probably, but if you got a good grade and the teacher didn’t care then you’re good. I would always recommend joining it because there is a chance you may be able to ask for help. I have been taking hybrid classes for a few years now and I made the mistake of not joining the meetings when I first started
You could be docked for participation, but so long as you do the work and keep your grades high, it isn’t terrible. I wouldn’t recommend, but it won’t kill you.
Anything that tells a first hand account of the event or subject should be considered a primary source. Even if someone else typed out the speech it is still the speakers direct quotes and wording.
