Answer 1:

The Cherokee In 1837, were forcefully relocated from North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Alabama, and Tennessee.

Those from Texas traveled at least 2,684 Kilometers.

Answer 2:

The tribes which used only one route to get to the Indian Territory are the Seminole and Chicksaw tribes.

The Indian Removal Act of 1830 was used to eject 5 major civilized Indian tribes.

The Seminoles were the Indian tribe that crossed the Gulf of Mexico in order to get to the Indian Territory.

There was a total of three routes used by the 5 tribes that were forcefully relocated from America.

President Andrew Jackson in the 1830s,  pursued a policy that would permit the legal removal of Indians. When the policy was enacted, it forced Native Americans living in Georgia, Florida, and Mississippi to trek hundreds of miles to the place we now call Oklahoma.
