The Great Awakening affected the colonies in at least three ways. First, the Great Awakening affected the colonies by changing many people's attitudes towards religion. Before this revival, religious piety and fervor had been waning in the colonies.
It also created a scence that the old religion is not all powerful and lastly, paved a way for the american revolution.

The people felt like they couldn't trust the banks anymore. So everyone started to go to the banks and withdrawl their money. Then the FDIC was invented to secure that banks would give your money back.
Exposed them to new lands to conquer as well as spread influence too. It allowed competing countries to appear superior if they conquered land in the land. Land=resources and power all equate to more economic oppurtunities
