Answer: 60 cm2

Explanation:
The formula for the area of a triangle is:
BASE x HEIGHT divided by 2.

ANY SIDE of a triangle can be a base. For this situation, we use the 20 cm as a base. For the height, we need to find what is perpendicular to the BASE. Perpendicular to the base means that the line connecting to the base forms a 90 degree angle. In this case, our height is 6cm. LEAVE THAT 14 cm and dont ever mind that ok?.

So we have the base- 20 cm
And the height- 6 cm

We multiply those two (20 x 6 is 120)

We now have 120, we need to divided that by 2 because we need to follow the formula. 120 divided by 2 is 60. THERE YA GO THE FINAL ANSWER: 60 cm2

We use the unit of measurement cm2 because it represents “square centimeters”

NOT cm3, cm3 is only for the area of 3d figures.

Given the standard form of the equation,solve for y, What is y if x=4?
erik [133]
Well, I'm not sure since you didn't post the equation but, all you have to do is plug in the number 4 where x is. So for example, say the equation given to you was y=6x+5. Just plug in 4 for x and you get y=6(4)+5, which is y=29.

Jose trabaja en una capinteria su jhefe le `pidio que cortara 9metros en cuatro partes de la misma longitud cuantoi deberia medi
Anna11 [10]

Responder:

2 1/4 m; 225 cm

Explicación paso a paso:

Dado:

Cortar 9 metros en 4 partes de la misma longitud;

Por lo tanto,

9 metros / 4

= 2,25 metros

Por lo tanto, cada varilla será 2.25 = 2 1/4 m

En cm;

1 m = 100 cm

2,25 metros = x

x = 100 * 2,25

x = 225 cm
