As of December 15, 1.6 Billion people live in inadequate shelter. Now I know that some people haven't been responsible enough as it take care of themselves but what about others. Let's take veterans as an example. After they're done serving, some of them suffer from neurological disorders. Why should they be on the streets when they spent years serving for their country? Now let's take single parents as another example. Some single parents work multiple jobs to try and keep their family afloat but they still aren't able to. Why should they be on the streets? They work just as hard as others, yet they aren't able to take care of their family.
