1) Her desire to help others in need changed her life after she learned to be a nurse, and because she was good at her job she had been put in charge of a hospital in london.

2)Florence was sent to Eastern Europe to help soldiers who were wounded.

3) Due to her hard work she became famous for her efforts and is known as a symbol of help to those in need.
