Answer:

Act 2 of the Christmas Carol begins with Scrooge getting a visit from the ghost of Christmas present. This spirit is a jolly man filled with happiness and laughter. Scrooge sees Bob Cratchit's crippled son, Tiny Tim, who shows so much kindness towards everyone that it warms Scrooge's heart. Later on, in the same night, the ghost takes Scrooge to his Fred's home where he is having a Christmas party With his close family and friends. Fred and his wife talk about Fred's visit with Scrooge and Fred says "I couldn't be angry with him if I tried. Who suffers by his ill whims? Himself anyways..." This statement shows that even though Scrooge is mean person to everyone, it doesn't matter because he is family and Fred looks past his rudeness and just doesn't let anything he says bother him. Next, the ghost of Christmas future visits Scrooge. Scrooge keeps on talking to the spirit and asking him questions, but the spirit never answers him. They take a journey to the future and Scrooge sees he is standing in the street in a city in London. In front of him is three people that are carrying bags. describe how chinese and american cultures cultural values and historical context contribute to the conflicts between the mother
Blizzard [7]
Chinese cultures and values in the historical context provide a narrative of the mother being a dominant force in the household, whereas the American culture and viewpoint more so promotes the idea that women and mothers are the loving and nurturing types of individuals in the family dynamic.

What does the phrase,"Such a sorrow doesn't come suddenly, there are thousand steps to take before you get there," mean?
olga2289 [7]
When you interpret a phrase or quote it's how you take it, so you break it down to find it's meaning:

"Such a sorrow doesn't come suddenly," (sad things don't just come out of nowhere), "there are thousand steps to take before you get there" (everything you do leads up to a moment). So the quote means,

Everything that happens in your life; every movement and every breath, leads to the moments; the moments you don't want to have, but you have to have. These moments are the sad, but hard moments. Every moment of our lives matter. Frankly, the impossible moments might drive you crazy, but you have to have those moments in order to get to the happy moments. Therefore I know the meaning of the quote, "Such a sorrow doesn't come suddenly, there are thousand steps to take before you get there," means that most of the moments in life are the good ones, but sad things have to happen- moments lead to that event, because time exists. Time is precious so cradle it; live your life as though you could fly.
