CFC is one of the greenhouse gases that are harmful to the atmosphere because CFC molecules are continuously hit by the solar radiations that breaks the bond between the carbon and chlorine, resulting in the production of a single Chlorine atom, which eventually breaks down down the ozone layer by reacting with it.
